Itinerary

Duration: Full day (approx. 8–9 hours)

Morning (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM)

• Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.
• Arrive at Arusha National Park gate (Momella Gate).
• Start with a game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, and occasionally elephants or leopards.
• Visit the Ngurdoto Crater, nicknamed the "Little Ngorongoro," offering stunning views and diverse wildlife.
• Explore the lush forests where you might see black-and-white colobus monkeys and other primates.
• Short drive to Momella Lakes for scenic views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro (on a clear day).

Afternoon (12:00 PM – 3:30 PM)

• Enjoy a packed lunch at a picnic site near the lakes.
• Continue the safari by canoeing on Momella Lakes (optional and depends on season availability).
• Birdwatching opportunity: flamingos, pelicans, and herons are common.
• Drive through grasslands to spot warthogs, waterbucks, and other grazers.

Late Afternoon (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)

• Begin the return journey to Arusha.
• Drop-off at your hotel.
